Keishi Tour is a privately owned and family operated tour company on the small island of Bora Bora in the Society Islands of French Polynesia.

pierrot.jpgThe concept behind the company had been a dream of owner Pierrot Taati for many years. That dream was finally able to come to fruition in 2002 for Pierrot, a 22 year veteran tour guide and boat captain at the Sofitel Marara.

Since its opening, Keishi Tour has thrived and continues to get busier each year. Every aspect of the picnics and tours offered by KEISHI TOUR is put together by the members of the Taati family.

The outrigger boats were built and are cared for by Pierrot, his son Maui, and other various cousins and uncles. Food is prepared fresh each morning by Pierrot and his wife Stella. A majority of the local fish used is caught by a member of the family.

pics_1.jpgIn case you are not yet familiar with the island of Bora Bora, it is one of the 118 islands in the French Polynesia.

It bears the nickname the « Pearl of the Pacific » and is considered by many to be the most beautiful and enchanting island in all of Polynesia.

Bora Bora has approximately 10,000 permanent residents and welcomes close to 200,000 visitors each year. Needless to say, the livelihood of a vast majority of the residents is centered around catering to these visitors. The two official languages of the country are French and Tahitian, although because of the impact of English speaking tourists, many people speak a fair amount of English as well. This is especially true in Bora Bora.
